The Gokyo Trek is one of the most beautiful trekking in Everest (Khumbu) region.
Most Trekkers access the Everest Region by flying from Kathmandu to Lukla, a 30min flight with amazing views.
If possible, try to get a seat on the left-hand side of the plane for the flight to Lukla and on the right-hand side on the flight back from Lukla because all mountains are on the northern parts of Nepal.
We will land on Lukla's spectacular short airstrip.
We have to flow trail to Namche, Kangjuma, same way of Everest Base Camp trail, after Kangjuma, we have turn to go left hand side up to Gokyo trek.
We can views very near mountains and peaks from on the our trekking trail, lots of blue and clean sacred lakes.
We can see the 360 degree panoramic views, from top of the Gokyo Ri 5360m., we can see 4 mountains above of the 8,000m.(Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Cho-Oyu)
Very nice sunset and sunrise from top of the Gokyo Ri, we can view down Gokyo valley, Gozumba glacier, 1st, 2nd and 3rd lake of Gokyo.
Gokyo trek is most important for views of Everest region.
